State Judo Championships - March 29, 2008
Denham Springs, LA
Although we are not a
dedicated Judo Club, we took two children and two adult
students to the LA State Judo Championships in Denham
Springs, LA. This was our first Judo tournament as a club,
and the first for each of the students. We came away with
two silver medals, one bronze and a fourth place in a large
and competitive division. Special thanks for James Wall of
Wall to Wall Martial Arts, and Jeff Miller of Acadia Judo
for making us feel welcome and putting on a great
tournament.
